Future Electric Lotus Sports Car Might Look Like the Esprit

Lotus has announced plans for another battery-powered sports car, which will be the result of a collaboration with Britishvolt, a company specializing in battery-cell development. As per the sketch, the future sports car will feature sharp, angular lines reminiscent of early versions of the Lotus Esprit from the late 1970s and early 1980s.

Lotus Unveils 2000 hp Evija EV Hypercar

British sports car maker Lotus, now backed by Chinese auto giant Geely has unveiled its new 2000 hp electric hypercar called Evija (pronounced “e-vi-ya”). This is also the first Lotus model after a gap of nearly 11 years. Only 130 examples of the Evija will be built and they won’t come cheap either, with a price tag surpassing $2 million USD.
