The starting gun of a race that gets anyone who is looking to buy a vehicle in Pakistan to scramble after it; be it from a new brand on the market or one of the already established ones. Government in the latest Auto Industry Development and Export Policy (AIDEP 2021-26) has decided that vehicles shall not be allowed to go on sale after June 30, 2022 whether locally manufactured or imported, which are not compliant of shortlisted WP29 regulations.
