4th Gen Kia Sorento Wins Carbuyer’s 2021 ‘Car of the Year’ Award

The all new 4th generation Kia Sorento has got to a flying start to year 2021 as the flagship SUV has been named as Carbuyer’s 2021 ‘Car of the Year’, as well as ‘Best Large Family Car’. This is not the first time Kia has won the coveted titles, with the e-Niro, Picanto, and Cee’d all taking honors in previous years.

Commenting on the achievement, Paul Philpott, President and CEO of Kia Motors UK said:

The event was live-streamed on 25th November on Carbuyer’s YouTube channel. The awards ran through 19 different categories, crowning a winner for each, before finally conferring the overall ‘Car of the Year’ title to the 4th generation Sorento, which was judged by the entire editorial team at Carbuyer. Richard Ingram, editor of Carbuyer.co.uk, said:

The 7-seat Kia Sorento SUV for the UK comes with 1.6L TGDi hybrid petrol with 6-speed automatic and 2.2L diesel with 8-speed DCT, both equipped with AWD function.
