Changan Launches Flagship Karvaan Plus

Changan has just launched the flagship version of its Karvaan minivan dubbed as Karvaan Plus. The up-spec version comes with an array of improvements over the regular Karvaan.

To start off, the new Karvaan Plus comes with an impressive beige/black dual tone interior color combo with revised door panels that comes embedded with arm rest & cup holders. The seats have been improved with new upholstery and matches well with the new interior. Other improvements include an electric power steering (EPS), front power windows, central locking, keyless entry, as well as mudguards & wheel arch covers.

Standard features which are also available with the regular Karvaan includes projector headlamps with beam height adjuster, 3-point ELR seatbelts for driver & front passenger, seatbelt reminder system, adjustable headrests for all seats, 4-way adjustable seats for front row, 2-way adjustable seats for second row, fold-down seats for 2nd & 3rd row, energy absorbing steering, dual AC, speedometer with digital LCD instrument cluster, 1-DIN audio system with MP3/ AM & FM/ AUX+USB support with 2 speakers etc.

Under the hood, the Karvaan Plus retains the Euro-4 compliant 999cc C10 engine that churns out 68hp of power and 92Nm of torque with power being sent to the wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission. Booking of the vehicle is already open with Karvaan Plus priced at PKR 15.55 lac, the regular Karvaan is available for PKR 14.35 lac. The vehicle is backed by 3 years/ 60,000km warranty with Changan’s nationwide 3S support available.

Please do not comment unless you have even used the damn thing. I doubt it can run as smoothly as Bolan. By smooth I mean without long or frequent time spent in garage.

You have based your opinion on “doubt” instead of first hand experience so how are you calling out another person? Please use “the damn thing” first and then call out others.

BTW (@ Zulfiqar Shamsi), Chang ‘an is Suzuki’s business name in China. So it is just another Suzuki, but the feature set is much better and modern than what Pakistan’s Suzuki is offering here.

Call out? How can a car even be called out? I used the word for car not for person. Nevertheless, you are right, I have never used a Chinese vehicle and after seeing them rot within three years, I never shall. As for my suspicion, my doubt on cars durability have been based on my observation of our neighbours car, one thing is clear to me, the glittering box fell apart in a very short time. good looks as compare to bolan a little bit aero dynamics from front ,disc brakes center locking, power steering, chilled ac & good air blower, speed o meter android system can also be installed keyless entry
