Honda has launched the 2020 WR-V facelift in India with prices starting from INR 8.5 lac (PKR 18.8 lac) for the base version & going as high as INR 11.0 lac (PKR 24.3 lac) for the top-spec variant.
The Honda WR-V facelift features a new horizontal slatted chrome-plated grille, revised pair of projector headlights with integrated LED DRLs and tweaked front bumper with new foglamps housing. The rear features new LED tail lamps and an LED high-mount stop lamp. Plus there are new 16-inch dual-tone diamond-cut alloy wheels and shark-fin antennae to sum up the exterior revisions.
The interior remains largely unchanged with features including a 7-inch touchscreen AVN system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, height-adjustable driver’s seat, automatic air-conditioning with touchscreen controls, multi-function steering wheel, cruise control and electric sunroof. Safety features include dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, front seatbelt reminder, high-speed alert, speed-sensing door-lock, crash-sensing door-unlock and ISOFIX child seat restraints offered as standard across the range.
Under the hood the 2020 Honda WR-V gets a choice of two BS6-compliant engine options. There is a 1.2-liter iVTEC naturally-aspirated petrol engine that churns out 90hp of power and 110 Nm of torque paired to a 5-speed manual transmission. The other engine is 1.5-liter iDTEC diesel unit that produces 100hp and 200Nm & comes mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. The petrol variant delivers a claimed fuel efficiency of 16.5 km per liter, whereas the diesel returns up to 23.7 km in a liter.
