The updates include thoroughly revised split headlights that features T-shaped new signature LED DRLs to substantially differentiate the new Santa Fe from the outgoing model. Also visible at the front is a wide reshaped grille featuring a geometric pattern that provides the SUV with a bold new character. The grille will be offered with two different inserts for the ‘Standard’ and ‘Luxury’ models.

The new lighting signature is described as reflecting “Hyundai’s new integrated vehicle architecture”, suggesting we should expect to see this look on future Hyundai models and facelifts. No other images have been revealed at this time, so we are not sure what sort of changes will be incorporated to vehicle’s side & rear end. Although Hyundai says we can expect “interior design updates providing premium amenities and comfort”.

It is also being reported that Hyundai will sell the new Santa Fe with both hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrains for the first time. Traditional gasoline engines will also be offered alongside.
