2020 Suzuki Dzire Facelift Launched in India from INR 5.89 lac

Maruti Suzuki has launched the 2020 Dzire facelift in India priced from INR 5.89 lac (PKR 12.36 lac). The top-spec version cost as high as INR 8.81 lac (PKR 18.49 lac).

The 2020 Maruti Dzire facelift features a refreshed front fascia with new larger hexagonal grille, revised bumpers with new fog-lamp inserts & new dual-tone alloy wheels. The interior gets minor revisions including champagne trim and faux wood accents with a natural gloss effect on the dashboard. There is a new SmartPlay Studio touchscreen infotainment system with 4.2-inch color TFT MID and cruise control.

Under the hood there is a new BS-VI compliant K12N 1.2-liter Dual-Jet Dual VVT engine with idle start-stop function– the first-in-segment. According to company the new engine offers improved efficiency with 90 hp of power and 113 Nm of torque and a rated fuel economy of 23.26 km/liter for manual and 24.12 km/liter for AMT variant. This also makes the 2020 Suzuki Dzire the most fuel-efficient sedan in its segment.

In terms of safety the Maruti Suzuki Dzire facelift is available with new safety features including ESC (Electronic Stability Control) and HHC (Hill Hold Control) restricted to the AMT versions. Standard safety features include dual airbags, ABS, driver & front passenger seat belt reminder, speed-alert system and rear parking sensors etc.

Maruti Dzire is one of the bestselling cars in India and remains among the top-five cars in terms of sales every month. In 2019 alone, Maruti sold 163,916 units of Dzire subcompact sedan in India averaging a handsome 13,660 units a month. It competes against the likes of Honda Amaze, Ford Aspire, Tata Tigor and Hyundai Xcent.
