Changan to Unveil UNI-T Crossover SUV at 2020 Geneva Motor Show

Changan has released first official photos of its newest crossover SUV called UNI-T. As per reports, the UNI-T will be unveiled at the 2020 Geneva Motor Show and will officially go on sale later this year.

The UNI-T will be the first model in Changan’s newest product series. It boasts a completely new design language with distinctive wide grille flanked by sharp split-type head lamps. Side profile boasts a double waist line, floating roof design, hidden door handles and 10-spoke rims. The rear end features slim polygonal tail lamps, dashed fog lamps, spoiler, skid plates and twin exhausts on either side. The Nissan Kicks inspired dual tone color makes it look quite a youthful and energetic vehicle.

In terms of dimensions the UNI-T measures 4,515mm in length and 1,870mm in width while have a 2,700mm wheelbase. The car will be available in 17” and 19” wheels depending on the variant offered. Reportedly there will be 1.5 liter turbocharged and 2.0 liter BlueCore engine options on offer.

The Changan UNI-T will compete against the likes of Toyota C-HR, Honda HR-V, Mazda CX-4 and Lynk & Co 02. Further information will be updated as and when available, stay tuned to CarSpiritPK.
