Giving us a clear picture of its side profile, the new City indeed looks much bigger than the current generation model. The bonnet and various areas of the body bear good resemblance to other Hondas including the Civic, Accord and Insight. As already disclosed it rides on a completely new platform and has a longer wheelbase resulting in increased cabin space and legroom for rear passengers.

According to Honda, the all-new Honda City will create a “REIMAGINE” phenomenon for automotive industry with a vehicle that is better in every dimension and delivers new value beyond everybody’s imagination by crossing the boundaries of the existing sub-segments of city cars.

Honda claims that the all-new City is 33% more fuel-efficient, will deliver better performance, sportier design, and increased comfort and space. President of Honda R&D Asia Pacific region Nobuyuku Aoyama says “You will not be disappointed with the all-new City when we launch it.”

We are just a couple of days away from the debut of next generation Honda City, let’s keep our fingers crossed for the 25th of November 2019.

The all new Honda City will go on sale in Thailand towards the end of this year followed by its Malaysian and Indian debut by early 2020, while it will begin reaching other markets thereafter.
