The next-gen Toyota Yaris hatchback has leaked ahead of its world debut at the 2019 Tokyo Motor Show scheduled to open its doors later this month. The all-new Yaris was seen without wearing any camouflage at the Toyota Technical Center Shimoyama.
The all new 4th generation Yaris will get a radical redesign, looking completely different than the current model. It adopts a broader stance like most other recent Toyota models. There is a redesigned prominent gaping grille up front, sportier front bumper with more pronounced outer ends, sleeker headlamps and flared-up wheel arches giving the new Yaris hatchback a much more aggressive look. The rear has an interesting set of tail lights, somewhat reminiscent to that of the funky C-HR crossover.
According to information, the new Yaris will get a hybrid version combining 1.5 liter 1NZ-FXE coupled with an electric motor, as well as 1.2 liter 8NR-FTS turbocharged petrol engine. Furthermore there will be a performance oriented GR Sport version on offer as well.
