Pak Suzuki Increases its CBU Prices

Following the increase in prices of their local assembled lineup, Pak Suzuki has now revised the prices of their CBU offerings amid depreciating Rupee value against the US Dollar. The company has increased the prices of its CBU vehicles by Rs 100,000 to up to 300,000.

According to information, with an increase of 100,000, the Ciaz Manual is now available for PKR 19.6 lac, the Ciaz automatic now cost PKR 21.0 lac, whereas the Vitara GLX is now available for PKR 38.9 lac. The APV have seen an increase of 300,000 after which it now cost PKR 27.18 lac.

Earlier in October, Pak Suzuki has reported that its profit after tax has declined by 55% for the first nine months of financial year 2018. According to the analysts, major risks for the company include further unfavorable movement in the exchange rate and commodity prices, regulatory changes, increased competition from existing and new players and disruptions in operations of the principal company.

The forthcoming time doesn’t look too good for Pak Suzuki, as the company has already discontinued its bestselling car, the Mehran and has to keep increasing its product prices due to depreciating Rupee against the Dollar. Pak Suzuki’s volumes in future could face an even more significant setback.
