Al-Haj FAW introduced the 1300cc V2 hatchback in Pakistan back in 2014. Initially the car was being imported as CBU but upon slow but satisfactory response from the public, the company began assembling the hatchback locally in August 2017.

The distinguishable aspect of the local assembled version was the presence of black embellishments on front grille and bumper in addition to the availability of new body colors. Whereas the company also offered mud flaps as well as the door insulation rubbers with the local assembled V2.
Now Al-Haj has introduced an all black interior with the V2 instead of the light grey. It was reported by us last year that the company, as per consumer demand, is planning to introduce a dark color-coded interior due to the fact that the light grey color is prone to get dirty quite easily. The black color makes the interior of the hatchback look sportier and impressive than before, yet easier to maintain too.

Despite multiple price revisions by the company due to depreciating Pak Rupee against US Dollar, the V2 is still the best value for money hatchback available in Pakistan for PKR 12.04 lac. Salient features include Dual Airbags, ABS with EBD, Alloy Wheels, Power Windows, Electric Power Steering, Central Locking and Engine Immobilizer.
