Datsun has launched the 2018 GO and GO+ facelift in Indonesia featuring design, equipment and powertrain updates.
The 2018 Datsun GO and 2018 Datsun GO+ possesses a more stylish exterior with a wider and more upright hexagonal grille, tweaked headlamps, sportier and more detailed front bumper with vertical LED DRLs, side mirrors with new integrated turn indicators, new 14-inch double-spoke alloy wheels and new rear bumper with faux side air vents. The GO hatchback and the GO+ MPV are now equipped with the rear windshield wiper & washer nozzle as well.
Inside, Datsun has redesigned the entire dashboard and instrument panel, with revised center console, rectangular central air vents and a 6.75-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Optimized backrest shape is said to have improved the seating comfort. The company has also improved cabin insulations and has made changes to the chassis to further improve the ride comfort.
The Datsun GO has received a CVT option in the facelift models, but the Datsun GO+ doesn’t. The 2018 Datsun GO MT and 2018 Datsun GO+ MT use the existing 1.2 liter three-cylinder petrol engine which produces 68 PS and 104 Nm of torque. The 2018 Datsun GO CVT employs the tweaked 1.2 liter three-cylinder petrol engine that develops 78 PS and 104 Nm of torque.
Reportedly Ghandhara Nissan is in process of launching the Datsun Go and Go+ in Pakistan, we will have to wait and see if they introduce the facelift models here or not.
