At the start of the new year 2018, the government has jacked up the fuel prices on Sunday, increasing the rate of petrol from Rs 77.47 per liter to Rs 81.53 per liter.
The price of high speed diesel has also been increased from Rs 85.95 per liter to 89.91 per liter. Light speed diesel is now available at Rs 58.37 per liter from earlier Rs 52.12 per liter.
The price of superior kerosene oil has been jacked up to Rs 62.30 per liter from Rs 57.58. These new prices are effective from 1st January, 2018.
