6th gen Honda City Facelift Revealed

Launched in 2013, the 6th gen Honda City is almost ready with a comprehensive facelift which will refresh the exterior and the interior of the popular Honda subcompact sedan.

The City facelift takes design cues from the all-new Honda Civic. The headlights retain their sharp look, however, their detailing is different altogether. What’s also new is the Civic-like bumper design and the sportier looking chin. At the back, the taillights have been revised and the bumper is all-new with some black inserts to reduce visual bulk.

Inside, the revised dashboard will feature a new touch-screen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The rest of the features will more or less be the same. Mechanically, Honda will continue with the existing 98bhp/200Nm, 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel unit and the 119bhp/145Nm 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol. The diesel City will feature a 6-speed manual while the petrol-powered model will come with the option of a 5-speed manual and a CVT.

The 6th gen City facelift will be launched in the first quarter of 2017, stay tuned for more info…
