BMW X1 Launched In Pakistan Starting From 3.99 Million

BMW Pakistan officially launched the X1 compact crossover yesterday, on the 18th of September. The X1 comes equipped with 1.5 liter sDrive-18i turbocharged 3 cylinder engine which churns out 136bhp and 220Nm of torque. The price tag is PKR 3,990,000.

Standard features on list include 6 speed manual transmission, 17” alloy wheels, engine on/ off button, automatic start/ stop function, rain sensors, fog lights, USB/Aux Bluetooth hands-free interface & rear windshield wipers etc.

x1_specsHowever if you don’t wish to go for the base version, the optional extras which include 8 speed steptronic transmission, leather upholstery, parking assist with distance control, cruise control with multi function steering wheel, metallic colors, panoramic sunroof, rear view camera & Bi-LED headlights will take the price to a new level (refer to the image attached).

In recent years there are quite a few options introduced in Pakistan in the above 3.0 million price territory including the 10th generation 1.5L Civic, Atlas Honda HR-V, Toyota Prius Hybrid by Indus Motors, Kizashi by Pak Suzuki, as well as the Audi A3. In addition to this the hot favorite Honda Vezel & Toyota Prius among the used Japanese imports also add to the options available in this price range. However not much has been available for the common consumers other than a handful of obsolete Suzukis.

Bearing BMW’s brand name, a powerful engine, quality craftsmanship and prestigious ownership factor, the BMW X1 is an attractive option in PKR 3.9 million for those with good purchase power.
