Toyota will launch the Yaris TRD Sportivo starting from the Indonesian market. It’s brochure has been leaked online, courtesy AutonetMagz.
The 2018 Toyota Yaris TRD Sportivo looks notably more aggressive. Its exterior is differentiated with features like TRD red ring accent in the projector headlamps, LED DRLs, unique bumpers, underbody spoilers, black mirror casings, TRD rear roof spoiler and TRD red line accents all around. The 16-inch alloy wheels are shared with the 2018 Toyota Yaris G.
Interior highlights include black colour scheme with contrasting red stitching, leather steering wheel, Optitron meters with TFT MID, 7-inch central display, engine start-stop button, automatic climate control, six speakers and customized door lock sound. 7 airbags, VSC, HSA and ABS with EBD and BA are standard in the new Toyota Yaris range.
The 2018 Toyota Yaris TRD Sportivo is likely to continue with the existing 1.5-litre Dual-VVT-i petrol engine that produces 107 PS and 140 Nm of torque. While the brochure already confirms availability of CVT with paddle shifters and Sport and Eco drive modes. Toyota is expected to offer a 5-speed manual transmission as well.
The Indonesian market launch along with the 2018 Yaris is expected on the 20th of February.
