Suzuki Ciaz Might Get Discontinued in Indonesia

Suzuki Ciaz might get discontinued in Indonesia due to poor sales, according to Indonesian auto portal Kompas.

The Ciaz made it’s first appearance at the 2015 GIIAS in November 2015 but hasn’t received any success at all. Reportedly Suzuki Indomobil Motors has sold only 35 units of Ciaz in 2016 and so far just 30 units this year, from January to November 2017.

Powered by a 1.4 liter K14B petrol engine, the Ciaz in Indonesia is available with 5 speed manual as well as 4 speed automatic transmission. It competes against the likes of Honda City and Toyota Vios there, but in nearly 2 years hasn’t been able to create any problems for it’s rivals.
