The three-row 7 seat MPV measures 4475×1750 x1700 mm and has a 1.5 liter four-cylinder petrol engine under the hood. The engine develops 103 hp and 141 Nm and sends power to the wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission or a 4-speed automatic transmission.

The Mitsubishi Xpander features a two-tone beige-black interior with a faux wood trim to give a premium look to the cabin. A touch-screen infotainment system sits at the top of the center console.

Mitsubishi will offer the Xpander with LED DRLs, 16-inch alloy wheels, rear spoiler, keyless entry, color MID, multifunction steering wheel, 60:40 split second-row seats, 50:50 split folding third-row seats, reverse camera, Active Stability Control with Traction Control Logic and Hill Assist.

The Xpander is Mitsubishi’s answer for the likes of Honda BR-V, Suzuki Ertiga and Toyota Avanza and may also be rebadged as a Nissan (Mitsubishi’s parent) to be sold in markets where Nissan has a strong presence.
